Make a Smile is a children’s charity founded on the principle that all children deserve to have memorable and enjoyable childhood experiences, recognising that circumstances such as deprivation, illness or disability can sometimes make this challenging.
The main goal of the charity is to bring the magic of meeting your favourite character(s) directly to these children in a more personalised and accessible way.
At present, we have 26 chapters established throughout the UK – including Birmingham and Leeds! We have previously successfully partnered with volunteers from the University of Birmingham and Leeds University to run events for children in the local community and would love to continue our journey of sharing smiles! We are currently accepting applications for committee members and volunteers for both of these regions.

To have the opportunity to provide comfort, company and joy to children while dressed as a princess, superhero, fairy, Jedi or even a mermaid, is truly unique experience and one you would find nowhere else except with Make a Smile.
