A new networking group for women in business has launched in Farsley, offering a relaxed, community-led alternative to traditional networking events in and around Leeds.
Inspire & Connect, which already hosts a growing monthly community in Ilkley, is expanding into Farsley following demand for more local spaces where women running businesses can connect, share ideas and build relationships without pressure to pitch or sell. Inspire & Connect Farsley has already attracted a range of women at different points in their business careers, from those starting a side venture to those successfully established.
Hosted in-person monthly at The Cat’s Pyjamas in Farsley, the evening is designed to be welcoming and informal, bringing together women in business from Farsley and surrounding areas including Pudsey, Calverley, Rodley and Wortley.
Inspire & Connect focuses on conversation and connection. Each monthly event includes a guest speaker, followed by plenty of time for relaxed discussion in a social setting.

Speaking about the expansion, organiser Laura Wood said:
“Inspire & Connect grew from a desire to create a space that feels genuinely welcoming for women in business. We have seen how powerful local connection can be in Ilkley, and Farsley felt like a natural next step. This is about building a community that supports you through your business journey, not just swapping business cards.”
Alongside the monthly in-person events in both Farsley and Ilkley, Inspire & Connect also offers members access to an online community connecting women across Ilkley and Farsley, an online book club, and additional networking opportunities throughout the year.
